Why did I create this website?
My name is Nan Chul Shin. The logical question that follows is “But I thought this website is about people with your namesake Patrick Shin?” It is. I was born in South Korea and my real name there is Nan Chul Shin. When I moved to the USA, more specifically Hawaii, I changed my name to Patrick Shin. Since I am always curious about people having the ”same” name like me, I started this website.
We created the website patrick-shin.com because I was wondering how many people are also called ”Patrick Shin” in the world. It’s a simple, and maybe strange concept, but I decided to create an entire database and see what everyone is doing and where they were living.
I was trying to find all my namesakes in the entire world. I am a South-Korean native that moved to Hawaii, to start a construction company called ”Nan Inc” (click here to learn more).
About my hometown
Currently I call Honululu, Hawaii my home and I absolutely love it. How could I not love it? Check out these views of my new hometown in the USA.
